Ramona Hall is licensed by the California Board of Behavior Sciences in Educational Psychology. Ramona is also certified in School Psychology by the National Association of School Psychologists. In addition, Ramona is trained in school neuropsychology and is a Diplomate with the American Board of School Neuropsychologists.
Ramona has 25 years of "hands-on" experience working in public and private sectors as a School Psychologist and Educational Psychologist. Areas of knowledge include learning disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, social skills training, and childhood disorders that affect school functioning.
With respect to children, Ramona provides psychoeducational testing and counseling services. She also provides teacher consultation, Special Education program planning, and 504 consultation for parents and schools. She is available to support parents at school IEP and 504 meetings and is frequently asked to observe students in the school setting as part of developing a comprehensive intervention or testing plan.
With respect to adults, testing services are offered for all types of educational, vocational, and developmental issues. Ramona works with adults to help them understand the status of previously diagnosed learning disabilities. She also assists adults in determining whether they meet accommodation requirements for taking national examinations and for college support programs. Older adults often request testing to develop a baseline for cognitive functions such as memory, attention, language, and speed of mental processes.
As an author, Ramona has numerous published articles on topics such as school failure, giftedness, bullying, school motivation, and brain functioning. She provides informative and entertaining workshops and speeches to parent groups, teachers, and professional associations.
Ramona holds memberships in local, state and national professional associations. She is a Subject Matter Expert for the State Board of Behavior Sciences and consults in the development of new tests for Educational Psychologists.
